The NSTAC advises the President on matters related to national security and emergency preparedness telecommunications policy. The committee will meet in open session to receive a briefing on the Federal Government’s current technology priorities, including initiatives to further implement the 25Point Implementation Plan to reform Federal Information Technology Management, such as progress made towards implementing the Government’s Cloud First Policy. Additionally, the NSTAC will receive a briefing on the Department of Commerce’s current initiatives with respect to the National Public Safety Broadband Network.

We are moving backwards while some question the need more spectrum at all. What can policymakers do to meet the National Broadband Plan's goal, and what are the alternatives in case it's not achievable?

The focus of the forum will be how pending FM translator applicants from the 2003 Auction 83 window and pending and prospective FM translator modification applicants will be processed, in accordance with changes implemented by the FCC in the LPFM proceeding.
