Commissioners Michael Copps and Mignon Clyburn, along with Congressman Lee Terry, will hold a roundtable discussion with citizens on broadband adoption and use on Tuesday in Omaha. Commissioner Clyburn chairs the Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service, the FederalState Joint Board on Jurisdictional Separations, and the Federal-State Joint Conference on Advanced Services, and Commissioner Copps is a member of these three bodies.

Topics to be discussed with Omaha’s citizens will include the benefits of digital literacy and broadband Internet access at community anchor institutions, citizens’ use of and reliance upon applications and services offered on-line, and barriers to purchasing Internet service at home
