ITIF will release the 2008 State New Economy Index which employs 29 indicators to rank each state on the extent to which its economy is structured to operate and effectively compete regionally as well as globally. The event will feature presentations from Rob Atkinson, President of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, and Robert Litan, Vice President of Research and Policy at the Kauffman Foundation.
