Free Press Summit: Changing Media will feature speeches from key policymakers like Acting FCC Chairman Michael Copps and Susan Crawford of President Obama's National Economic Council, discussions with public interest advocates and industry innovators, and a people-powered deliberation about the public interest policies needed in today's changing media landscape.
Through interactive discussions, we will highlight the importance of putting the public interest first in media policymaking. Universal, open and affordable Internet access, diverse media ownership, quality journalism and vibrant public media are at the core of this public interest policy agenda.
