If I Ran AT&T... I'd Be Worried

If you're AT&T, three trends should worry you: 1) declining number of phone line subscribers, 2) DSL service struggles to keep up with cable's greater bandwidth, and 3) slowing growth of U-Verse subscribership. Even the wireless side may worry as the iPhone has fueled growth but the exclusive contract with Apple may end soon. A few things ease my mind: a) U-Verse TV service has received generally favorable reviews, making it the largest most successful deployment of IPTV in the country to date, b) working with Cisco to deploy their Telepresence technology across the US and around the world, c) AT&T Navigator advanced GPS service just won an award, and d) we're moving into Cloud Computing.
