Although it has been more than five years since President Bush set a goal of establishing electronic health records for all Americans, the United States has seen slow progress on health IT adoption. Yet many other countries that faced similar challenges have made much faster progress.
Please join ITIF for the release of a new study "Explaining International Health IT Leadership" that explores the lessons nations can learn from the global leaders in health IT adoption. The report helps answer the questions, "Which countries are leading in health IT adoption, what explains their success, and what lessons can the United States learn from these leaders?" ITIF will be joined by a panel of experts from some of the leading countries to discuss their experience with health IT.
This will be the first in a series of six ITIF events that will explore international technological leadership.
