FCC's Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council to meet Dec 7

The Federal Communications Commission's Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council will hold its first meeting on December 7, 2009. At this meeting, the CSRIC will consider the duties set forth in the CSRIC charter, the process for completing its tasks, and the committee structure. There may also be presentations from some member organizations. Members of the general public may attend the meeting. The FCC will attempt to accommodate as many people as possible. However, admittance will be limited to seating availability. The CSRIC is a Federal Advisory Committee that will provide recommendations to the Commission regarding best practices and actions the Commission can take to ensure optimal security, reliability, and interoperability of communications systems, including telecommunications, media and public safety communications systems.
