Convened by industry stakeholders to share lessons learned, proposals and ideas on all aspects of the emerging TV White Spaces (TVWS) market, the TVWS Summit will highlight market demand, industry interest, and progress towards deployment. The Summit will present multiple industry perspectives and discuss outstanding issues together with plans for how to move forward.
Featuring a keynote by The Honorable Meredith Attwell Baker, Federal Communications Commissioner for the Federal Communications Commission.
The theme of this conference is to "Maintain a spotlight on TV White Spaces progress." It is designed to highlight the growing benefits of TVWS in addition to:
• Discussing commercialization of TVWS
• Reviewing the progress of proposed standards
• Examine technology/regulatory/deployment requirements
This premier event for identifying the importance of TVWS to the wireless industry will address topics with strong interest for Device Manufacturers, Radio Manufacturers, ISPs, Carriers, Software Providers and Application Builders. The conference is designed to recognize the importance of each of the identified participants in supporting the objectives of the FCC in promoting more readily available access to Broadband services.
