SENATE COMMUNICATIONS ACT OF 2006 BILL REPORT

The Senate Commerce Committee has released its report on the Communications Opportunity, Promotion, and Enhancement Act of 2006, a bill intended "to update the Nation’s communications laws in a manner that benefits consumers and encourages deployment of broadband infrastructure and services throughout the country and eliminate unnecessary regulations where appropriate."
