WASHINGTON AND BROADCASTERS MUST TEAM UP
[SOURCE: Broadcasting&Cable, AUTHOR: John Eggerton]
According to former NAB Joint Board Chairman James Yager, now CEO of Barrington Broadcasting, broadcasters need to work on their relationship with Washington. At a Maximum Service Television forum in Washington Tuesday, Yager said that "the greatest challenge facing broadcasters in the next couple years, is our relationship with both the Senate and the House." "For some reason, we seem to have lost our magic with our own elected representatives," he said. "We have a challenge to rebuild that magic."
