Ever wondered what all those people you see walking with iPods are listening to? If you assume just music, you may be wrong.
More and more people are taking advantage of free book downloads offered by the public library. Diane Bronson, the collection development coordinator at Live Oak Public Libraries in Savannah, says a digital download for hand held devices is becoming more popular every month. "It's better than a library book from my point of view because you don't have to keep track of it or worry about returning it," she tells me. Bronson says with a click of the mouse, many are downloading the latest best seller and then really going portable in terms of the flexibility of how they listen to that book. "We are iPad compatible as well as MP-3." Bronson shows me. "And these are all the new releases."
