The Campaign Legal Center and the Benton Foundation letter to House Telecom Subcommittee Chairman Ed Markey asking for Congressional oversight of the Federal Communications Commission which for over 12 years now has had deliberated on the public interest obligations of digital television broadcasters without action. The groups also released "Public Interest Obligations of Digital Television Broadcasters Timeline 1995-2007" to demonstrate the starts and stops on this issue.
