The Alliance for Public Technology, Communications Workers of America (CWA) and the Benton Foundation have teamed up to co-host a brown bag lunch series that will focus on advanced universal service policy and its affects on various populations in the United States.

The series will launch on Thursday, March 23rd centered on the theme of APT’s new policy report - Achieving Universal Broadband: Policies for Stimulating Deployment and Demand. The program will feature Rob Atkinson, President of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) and Chair of APT’s Public Policy Committee, Ken Peres, Research Economist for CWA and President of APT, and Jim Kohlenberger, Senior Fellow at the Benton Foundation.

Discussion will center on policy recommendations to promote the ubiquitous deployment of and access to high speed networks and services and everyone who attends will receive copies of:
