Rural telephone service provider CenturyLink plans to resell Verizon Wireless services so it can add cellphone and high-speed wireless offerings to its home broadband and telephone services. CenturyLink -- which is buying Qwest, another Verizon Wireless partner -- said that it will announce the kick-off date for its wireless service later this Spring. Under the deal CenturyLink will sell the full line-up of mobile phones and devices such as tablet computers from Verizon Wireless, which recently started selling the Apple Inc iPhone.
