Members of the Senate Homeland Security Committee urged the Office of Management and Budget to address widespread inaccuracies on the website intended to give the public insight into federal information technology investments.
The site, known as the IT Dashboard, is supposed to provide near real-time information on the cost and schedule status of ongoing federal technology projects. However, according to a new report from the Government Accountability Office report the data on the site doesn't always reflect a project's current status.
