There are two Congressional hearings on broadband policy today: 1) In the House, the Internet & Telecommunications Subcommittee hears "Broadband Lessons from Abroad" with witnesses representing New Zealand's parliament, the UK's OFCOM, Japan's NTT, Rawandatel/Terracom, and the Phoenix Center. 2) The Senate Commerce Committee hearing is titled "Communications, Broadband and Competitiveness: How Does the U.S. Measure Up?" and includes ConnectKentucky, Free Press, the Telecommunications Industry Association, Qualcomm, the Progress and Freedom Foundation and Criterion Economics.
