Telecom’s Brave New World
The 32nd Annual Austin N. Scott Jr. Memorial Lecture Presented by Professor Phil Weiser
Each year, the Law School picks a professor to lecture on a cutting edge topic explored in that professor's research. This year, Professor Philip Weiser, Executive Director of the Silicon Flatirons Telecommunications Program, will speak about "Telecom's Brave New World," discussing on the basic themes set forth in his new book, Digital Crossroads: Telecommunications Policy in the Internet Age(with Jon Nuechterlein), published by the MIT Press in March of 2005. In so doing, he will explain interesting legal and policy issues raised by the digital broadband migration as well as where the industry is headed.
