The "State of the FCC" Meeting

FCC OPEN COMMISSION MEETING

Senior FCC officials made presentations to the five commissioners on Thursday regarding implementations of the agency's strategic plan and a comprehensive review of FCC policies and procedures. The Media Bureau presentation focused on 1) increasing competition in the video delivery market, 2) the digital television transition, 3) a recap of the media ownership review and decision, 4) diversity of media ownership and video programming, and 5) localism.
