Copps: Keep Pressuring Cable on Indecency

FCC Commissioner Michael Copps said Washington needs to keep pushing the cable industry on indecent programming, even as major cable companies roll out programming packages designed to be inoffensive. "Trust but verify," Commissioner Copps said of the cable companies' plans announced Monday. "I don't think we're anywhere near the point where we say, 'We don't need legislation.'"
