CHALLENGES TO FCC MEDIA OWNERSHIP RULES SET TO ROLL

With publication of the Federal Communications Commission's new media ownership rules in the Federal Register, legal opposition to the rules may soon begin. Media reform activists opposed to media ownership consolidation will challenge the rules as may media companies and lobbyists who believe that the rules don't go far enough in loosening regulation of ownership.
