[Commentary] Once cellular phone service was a luxury. Today, it is a necessity. The so-called information services such as e-mail, voice mail, and text messaging are all essential services in our mobile and information rich society. No provider of such services should be permitted to deny access to the on-ramps of the information highways because it doesn't like what you may speak or write. The FCC needs to change the rules and tell the carriers that they are not content gatekeepers.
