Proxy advisory service Egan-Jones recommended on Friday that shareholders oppose a sweetened $19.5 billion bid to take radio station operator Clear Channel Communications private. Egan-Jones said the $39-a-share bid "remains insufficient." It said Clear Channel could generate greater value by staying independent and selling selected assets.
