March 8, 2005 -- Charles Benton is one of 35 newly-appointed members of the Federal Communications Commission's Consumer Advisory Committee. The purpose of the committee is to make recommendations to the FCC regarding consumer issues and to facilitate the participation of consumers in proceedings before the FCC.
