The Stronger Together Planning Initiative is funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and is led by the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries and Museums with support from the Native Nations Institute.

The summit will be informed by a Needs Assessment Survey, and will result in a formal action plan for the next 10 years. The Action Plan will cover programs and services, training needs, financial sustainability, and legislative recommendations.
