CWA, APT Partner Up to Promote Broadband Policy Initiatives on Capitol Hill
On Wednesday, May, 23rd, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and the Alliance for Public Technology will co-host a luncheon event on Capitol Hill to underscore the need for policies that encourage universal broadband access and showcase successful models of deployment and demand. The event is another in the series of programs for the APT-CWA Advanced Universal Service campaign. APT’s recent report Achieving Universal Broadband: Polices for Stimulating Deployment and Demand and CWA’s SpeedMatters report, both of which focus on advanced universal service and broadband deployment, will be available. The event will take place in the Rayburn House Office Building, Room 240.
