Innovations in Privacy | Preserving Tech: Applications for Government Data Sharing
Emerging technologies and applications are providing new opportunities for secure, privacy-protecting data sharing in both the public and private sector. As the federal government develops a plan intended to advance innovation in data and analytics, approaches like secure multiparty computation, homomorphic encryption, synthetic data, and differential privacy offer capabilities for managing input, analytical, and output privacy and promote data accessibility and use. During this one-hour virtual event, speakers will provide insights about innovative projects and applications relevant to government, and discuss the potential for privacy-preserving approaches to enhance existing data and analytical capabilities in government that can simultaneously strengthen the American public’s privacy expectations.
