This webinar follows the release of a Journal of Science Policy and Governance (JSPG) Special Issue on the Impacts of Emerging Technologies on Inequality and Sustainability, produced in collaboration with the UN Major Group for Children and Youth (UN MGCY). The event highlights the work of early-career authors from the special issue around Public Interest Technology (PIT) topics, facilitates conversations around harnessing technology to promote equity, and seeks to build the next generation of civic-minded practitioners.
