An update on the work being done by Internet industry companies to ensure the continued operations of the Internet’s infrastructure during the COVID-19 crisis.

As people have complied with stay at home orders and our lives have moved increasingly online, global Internet traffic has soared, with reports of surges of 50 to 70 percent. Maintaining Internet availability and security during this pandemic requires coordination within a diverse ecosystem of Internet infrastructure organizations, from ISPs to IXPs to cloud and data center operators, to the managers and distributors of content to the last mile. Join i2Coalition to learn about efforts being made by providers in the United States to ensure the network reliability and security operations crucial to consumers across the country, now relying on the internet more than ever to work from home, attend remote classes and stay connected.

Guest speakers will focus on the underlying infrastructure resources and collaborative efforts our industry has harnessed to ensure that the world can continue to operate digitally during this pandemic.
