White House Briefing on the Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program
The White House Gender Policy Council, Office of Public Engagement, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services invite you to save the date for August 29th at 3:00 PM for an exciting opportunity to learn about the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s (NTIA) Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program, a time-sensitive funding opportunity supporting efforts to achieve digital equity through inclusion activities that will reach more people. Digital equity, which refers to the condition in which individuals and communities have the information technology capacity needed for full participation in the society and economy in the United States, plays an important role in NTIA’s mission. For the first time, the Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program includes criteria supporting digital equity projects that address online safety, harassment, and abuse, marking a significant opportunity to advance the field of digital equity for victims and survivors.
This webinar aims to provide you and your organizations with in-depth information on this program, the application process, and will provide an opportunity for you to ask questions directly to NTIA leadership.
