[Commentary] The president of the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association doesn't like a recent study by the University of Wisconsin finding little election coverage by Badger State TV stations. Laabs' biggest beef is that the study did not look at any other newscasts than the 6pm and 10pm shows. Loss, he says, is any coverage during early morning, 5pm and 9pm newscasts. Also missed in the study were weekend public-affairs programming, free-time offers to candidates and debate coverage.
