French spend four hours a day using tech when on holiday

The French will spend a total of 56 hours during their two-week vacation this summer surfing the Internet, e-mailing or making mobile calls with their mobiles, for an average of 4 hours a day, according to a recent survey by LH2 for e-shopping portal Kelkoo. The 95 percent of French people who expect to take a vacation this summer will take 2 or 3 devices (2.4 on average) costing a combined EUR 727, on average. Of these, 37 percent will take their laptops, which they will use for an average 2.3 hours a day (or 33 hours during their two-week holiday).
