Obama Appointments Stalled In Senate

After nearly nine months in office, President Obama has filled some 250 appointments to top government positions. That's about half of the number of vacancies for Senate confirmed jobs, but the process has stalled. One reason is the increased vetting the administration has found it necessary to do. Also, Senate Republicans have put holds on more than a dozen top nominees.
