Ofcom Targets Early 2012 for UK Spectrum Auction

UK telecommunications regulator Ofcom said an auction for additional spectrum will start in the first quarter of 2012, with licenses to be issued in the second quarter. Ofcom will publish the auction consultation process and proposals in February 2011.
