Indiana Connectivity Program Awards

The Indiana Connectivity Program announced the eighth round of awards on January 8, 2024. The eighth round of the program awarded $637,346 to expand broadband to 175 addresses across 23 counties. Of these addresses, 168 are homes and seven are businesses. Internet providers carrying out the projects matched $1,145,002 for a total investment of $1,782,348. The ten providers who received awards are:

Lt. Gov. Crouch (IN), OCRA award $842K to expand broadband access to over 200 locations through the Indiana Connectivity Program

Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch (R-IN) and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs announced more Hoosiers will gain access to high-speed broadband as a result of $842,865 awarded in the fifth round of the Indiana Connectivity Program (ICP).

Indiana Connectivity Program Round 4 Awards

The Indiana Connectivity Program announced the fourth round of awards on Jan. 11, 2023. The fourth round of the program awarded $925,574 to expand broadband to 254 addresses across 30 counties. Of these addresses, 235 are homes and 19 are businesses. Internet providers carrying out the projects matched over $2.4 million for a total investment of over $3.3 million. The Indiana Connectivity Program aims to connect residents and businesses that lack access to broadband internet service with service providers and assist in the expense of extending broadband to those locations.

Indiana Awards $760,727 to Expand Broadband to 200 Location Across the State

Lieutenant Gov Suzanne Crouch (R-IN) and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs have awarded $760,727 in third-round funding from the Indiana Connectivity Program to expand broadband access to 197 addresses across 28 Indiana counties.

Robert Gallardo to assist with Indiana's Next Level Connections Broadband programs

The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) announced Purdue University's Roberto Gallardo will be assisting with the Next Level Connections Broadband Grant programs. In this role, Gallardo will be responsible for guiding the suite of rural broadband programs, including program delivery, compliance and reporting, trainings and policies, partnerships and fiscal integrity. Gallardo joins OCRA on a contractual basis and will continue to serve as the Director of the Purdue Center for Regional Development and a Purdue Extension Community & Regional Economics Specialist.
