Biden-Harris Administration Awards $2.9 Million to Louisiana in First of "Internet for All" Planning Grants
The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration announced that Louisiana is the first state to receive planning grants for deploying high-speed Internet networks and developing digital skills training programs under the Biden-Harris Administration’s Internet for All initiative. Louisiana is receiving $2,941,542.28 in funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Louisiana will receive $2 million from the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program to fund:
NTIA Awards More Than $105 Million in Grants to Expand High-Speed Internet Access on Tribal Land in Arizona
The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) awarded $105,846,128.07 in grants awarded from the Internet for All initiative to five Tribal entities in Arizona. The grants will fund high-speed internet infrastructure deployment projects through the Internet for All Initiative’s Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program for Hopi Telecommunications, Inc., Navajo Tribal Utility Authority, Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona, San Carlos Apache Tribal Council/Triplet Mountain Communications, Inc., and White Mountain Apache Tribe.
Biden-Harris Administration Awards $18.9 Million Grant to Expand Broadband Access on Tribal Lands
The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration awarded an $18.9 million Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP) grant to the Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada (ITCN). This grant will fund high-speed internet infrastructure deployment, use, and adoption projects to improve connectivity across Tribal lands.

NTIA Announces All States and Territories Have Submitted Applications for BEAD Program Planning Funds
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announced that all states and territories have submitted applications for initial planning funds as part of the $42.45 billion Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program, which is part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Internet for All initiative. The BEAD Program enables states and territories to expand high-speed internet access by funding planning, infrastructure deployment and adoption programs.
NTIA Adds New Senior Leadership to a Growing Team
