FCC Announces Tentative Agenda for July 14 Open Meeting
Federal Communications Commission Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel announced that the items below are tentatively on the agenda for the July Open Commission Meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 14, 2022:

A panel of experts discusses the growth of broadband and its impact on the U.S. economy and how the federal government, private sector, and public advocates continue to shape the digital economy.
Meet the Speakers:
At this meeting, Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) members are expected to (i) receive an update from the IP Captioning Files Transmittal Working Group; and (ii) discuss other topics relevant to the DAC’s work. The meeting will be led by the DAC co-chairs: Brian Scarpelli, Senior Policy Counsel of ACT | The App Association, and Isidore Niyongabo, President and Director of Advocacy and Public Engagement of National Black Deaf Advocates.
Topics selected for FCC open meeting agendas will be posted approximately three weeks prior to the Commission's next monthly meeting.

The Commission will consider a Report and Order and Second Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that would incentivize beneficial transactions for small carriers, Tribal nations, and rural interests. (WT Docket No. 19-38) - Updating the Intercarrier Compensation Regime to Eliminate Access Arbitrage
The agenda for the meeting will include a report of each of the Communications Equity and Diversity Council working groups. The Digital Empowerment and Inclusion Working Group will present a report including recommendations for addressing digital discrimination and other barriers that impact equitable access to broadband and other emerging technology in under-served and under-connected communities.
The Federal Communications Commission's Broadband Data Task Force will hold a live, virtual webinar to preview the Broadband Data Collection (BDC) system for filers who will submit broadband availability data in the inaugural BDC filing window beginning on June 30, 2022.
