Apple's Tim Cook visits White House
December 3, 2014
Apple CEO Tim Cook sat down with White House officials, but an aide declined to say whether or not he spent time with President Barrack Obama. "The President and his advisers regularly meet with stakeholders -- including CEOs, business owners, advocates and others -- on a range of issues,” a White House official said, not specifying whom Cook met with. Cook also met with Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) to talk about the senator’s tech agenda for 2015. Sen. Hatch has been a proponent of reforming the nation’s patent laws and requiring police to obtain a warrant before they search people’s emails.
