Deborah Tate To Direct Administration of Tennessee Courts

Former Republican Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission Debora Tate has been named director of the Tennessee Administrative Office of the Courts.
Tate exited the FCC in December 2008. She began her career in Tennessee state government as counsel and advisor to governors Don Sundquist and Lamar Alexander. She also chaired the Tennessee Regulatory Authority, the post she had when she was tapped by President George W. Bush for the FCC post.
