With Internet outage, anger rises over proposed Time Warner-Comcast merger

A widespread Internet outage August 27 that affected Time Warner Cable has raised eyebrows as to whether the company's proposed merger with rival cable provider Comcast will be good for consumers. Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) told the New York State Department of Public Service to look into the outage in conjunction with its review of the proposed merger.
