Almost one in 10 UK broadband users are still dissatisfied with their service, even as the number of people embracing internet based communications and media is rising.

The digital divide between the younger and older generations also continues to be an issue, according to Ofcom, the industry regulator in its annual consumer experience report. It found those under 24 were more likely to use new technology to communicate as well as less likely to have a television set or a fixed line phone.
