The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will host an event on Nov. 8 for Web developers to discuss how to increase government transparency and access to technology for people with disabilities.

The daylong event will seek to promote collaboration between developers in the public and private sectors, with a focus on implementing the requirements of the recently signed 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act, which is intended to expand access to the Internet, television and mobile technologies for the deaf and blind.
