Comcast extends Xfinity content to TiVo Premiere

Cable TV giant Comcast and DVR pioneer TiVo have forged an agreement that will allow Comcast’s Xfinity on-demand content to be viewed on TiVo’s line of HD and Web search-capable Premiere set-top boxes in several of the largest Comcast markets. The San Francisco Bay Area will be the first market to get the integrated capability. Comcast and TiVo will be partnering on retail promotions and other sales efforts as they expand the offering, and Comcast will offer to install the TiVo boxes at no extra charge for customers in those markets.
