Verizon Wireless quietly added one more option to its Share Everything phone plans. Verizon simplified its smartphone plans last year to 14 different options — all have unlimited voice and text; you select the monthly allotment of data starting from 1 GB, which costs $80 a month including a smartphone. Verizon added a lower-tier, a 500-megabyte data plan that is $10 cheaper with a smartphone. The move comes only days after AT&T introduced a 300 MB option that costs half as much as its 1 GB monthly data allotment.
