FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai Announces New Staff Appointment

Federal Communications Commissioner Ajit Pai announced the appointment of Jeffrey Neumann as his Acting Legal Advisor for wireless, public safety, and issues involving people with disabilities.

“With Jeff, our office gets two for the price of one. He is both a distinguished engineer and a talented attorney,” said Commissioner Pai. Jeffrey Neumann joins Commissioner Pai’s office on detail from the Engineering Division of the Federal Communications Commission’s Media Bureau. A recipient of the Commission’s Excellence in Engineering award, he has worked on numerous technical and policy issues relating to cable, DBS, over-the-top, and broadcast television; video competition and broadband services; and implementation of the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010.
