Discarding Net neutrality is a bad idea

[Commentary] Faced with an uproar, the head of the Federal Communications Commission is hoping to ease a dispute over higher payments for quicker Internet service. But the peacemaking plan comes with too many flaws to accept. The fast-lane concept has led a string of major Silicon Valley firms to call the idea "a grave threat to the Internet." These doubts are too serious to allow Net neutrality to be discarded. The FCC should not set up a toll road that blocks net access.
