A recent Mobile Beacon report analyzing mobile broadband usage by non-profit organizations, including schools, finds that schools utilizing Mobile Beacon’s 4G LTE internet service indicate that the ability to supplement and/or extend existing school networks is the greatest benefit of the service.
Extending broadband's reach to every American community has been a vexing problem for policymakers for years. Today, the Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband (SHLB) Coalition offers research we believe will contribute to finding a solution.
The Federal Communications Commission concluded in a recent report that broadband is being deployed to all Americans in a reasonable and timely fashion, but there’s more work to be done. On the latter point, there’s widespread agreement.
