The answer is not as clear as one may think -- but it may provide hope for those worried about how future innovation will fare under the FCC’s new framework. LTE broadcast may not replace traditional unicasting for most online content, but it can be a useful tool to help manage network congestion -- and it appears the Open Internet order is flexible enough to allow carriers to use it.
