FCC Commissioner Michael Copps is a powerful voice for the public interest in a federal agency that’s been overrun by Big Media lobbyists and political operatives. On Thursday afternoon, Commissioner Copps will speak about the future of the media—from broadcast to broadband. His speech will be followed by a discussion of the ways the Netroots can work with advocates in Washington to set the policy agenda and win a more democratic media for everyone.
